Upon my late night arrival, I was exceeding the limit of exhaustion but the front desk staff got me through the checking in procedures very fast. I asked for a late checkout as I had arrived so late and they were very accommodating. I arrived to my room and to my pleasure they had upgraded me, not knowing that I would be writing about this occasion after my stay.
I entered a delightful medium sized suite on the 1st floor with a perfectly made bed. Four pillows, soft or hard, and comfortable mattress and bed linens.
In the center of the room is a rotatable mirror that on one side turns into the TV and DVD player. If you wonder what a DVD player is, it is what people used to play movies on before they did it on Netflix! The main feature of the room was definitely the rotating mirror television, but on opposite sides was the king size bed facing the comfy couch with lots of pillows.
Behind a sheer curtain one can glimpse the office area equipped with a table, rolling office chair, telephone and, behind, a very convenient mini bar and kitchen area with tap, snacks, drinks and other handy things.
Walking into the shower room, you arrive to a ladies area with a big mirror, smaller mirror and all to make a lady happy when getting ready to go out. Entering the bathroom there is a shower with a see through curtain to the bed. It’s changeable so it’s up to your tastes or mood.
FINAL VERDICT:
The Mondrian pleased me in all ways possible for what I was looking for. I wanted a nice bed and peace. That was my criteria, but I had plenty of pleasant surprises.
