One of my favorite countries in the world is Tunisia and this time around we were so excited to attend a photo shoot with one of Tunisia’s greatest fashion designers, Ali Karoui. The shooting took place at the stunning Villa Bleue with incredible azure ocean views of the Gulf of Tunis. The villa is created with traditional Tunisian architecture in white and blue and located in Sidi Bou Said. We had the perfect location for a stunning photo shoot, being able to access all the different areas of Villa Bleue along with the roof top.

The team working on the shoot were an absolute dream, Sabri Ben Mlouka on photography, the MAC Tunisia team for make up, Bumble and Bumble for hair, models; Azza Slimene, Yasmine Ben Ali and Sherine Ben Hassine. Tunis is such an incredible place to shoot, the weather, climate and light makes it spectacular with Ali Karoui’s gorgeous dresses glimmering in the sun.

Couture designer Ali Karoui started his interest in fashion at an early age with his sisters as his muses. Cut to his current status where he is dressing major celebrities for red carpet events around the world including the Cannes Film Festival. His dresses – many of them very sheer- capture the attention of all the press in any event.
